would be interested to develop and produce a biodegradable solution to our current PET” All-time Favourites” E Commerce shipper. We worked to together for a year to find a producer that would be able to source the appropriate materials, do the testing and produce the bag. After various trials, we are introducing our “biodegradable” E commerce shipper into the market. Luigi and his team of sustainability experts supported me throughout the entire design and development process through to final testing and production. Among the corporate supporters of Dynamo Camp there is a very special one, a company run by an entrepreneur of Italian origins, who grew up in the United States and eventually moved to Germany, where he settled with his family and company. When we met Luigi Grosso for the first time in mid-2018, we met a person with very clear ideas in terms of global sustainability and social responsibility.
Euro Brand Management, which is a company specialized in packaging for footwear and sports clothing / accessories, to begin with in 2015 became a certified B-Corp, taking the name SUBENCO “Sustainable Benefit Company” for the part of the business dedicated exclusively to packaging sustainable. In the description of its mission , on the company’s website it is clearly expressed that it is necessary to overturn the common thought that what is good for me is also good for the planet , in “what is good for the world will be good for us”.
B-Corp are profit companies subject to rigorous checks by the certifying body in terms of compliance with social, environmental, management, responsibility and transparency policies.
Having done this, Luigi Grosso – who, as he says, has worked hard, but has also had a lot from life – decided to associate his company with a non-profit organization and our non-profit organization was among the institutions taken into consideration. As an experienced manager, he learned about Dynamo Camp and The Serious Fun Children’s Network, visited the Camp in Tuscany where he met our staff and volunteers.
And then came the decision to start a partnership with Dynamo Camp with ongoing support and monthly donations to encourage the hospitality of the children.
This is a beautiful story that we wanted to tell, not only to thank Luigi and his team, but also to share a path of awareness and giving-back.
